The 2009 Caltrans Construction Contracting Program (CCCP) provides free training and one-on-one counseling for small business contractors and professional service firms who are ready to bid and work on public works projects. The seven part training series is designed to cover some of the most important aspects of the process, including bidding and estimating, construction law, prevailing wage, proposal development, bonding, safety, and project management.
