Architectural Criteria
Architectural criteria were developed to guide and serve as a framework for the design of the Presidio Parkway to minimize harm to historic properties. The criteria cover all roadway elements including the alignment, structure type, pedestrian/bicycling classification of the roadway, signage, lighting and landscaping associated with the project. In addition, these criteria address how the roadway relates to the existing historic, cultural and scenic resources of the Presidio as well as integrating the facility within the Presidio’s transportation infrastructure.
